Ardent Partners revealed the winners of its industry achievement awards in global procurement, including one new inductee into its Hall of Fame, at its third annual CPO Rising 2018 Summit on November 8, in Boston, MA. The The Chief Procurement Officer (or “CPO”) Honors were established to celebrate the procurement function and recognize the accomplishments of the profession’s best leaders and teams. These awards have quickly become the procurement industry’s most prestigious series of awards. The CPO Honors winners are selected based upon external nominations. Established in 2016, The CPO Rising Hall of Fame inducts up to three procurement leaders each year who have differentiated themselves and their organizations by a blend in leadership in innovation, executive stewardship, process excellence, and dedication to their craft. This year’s inductee was:

The CPO Honors were presented in four categories. The winners (in bold) are noted below.
The Leadership Award (CPO of the Year) was presented to the CPO who has driven new performance heights as a result of their direct involvement and leadership and overall exceptional executive management.
Sarah Malconian accepts the award for CPO of the year from Andrew Bartolini.
Best Team Performance Award is presented to the procurement department that has excelled across the full scope of procurement operations to make a significant impact on overall enterprise results.
Amee Foss, National Director of Procurement and Plant Operations at Watermark Retirement Communities, accepts the award for Best Team Performance from Andrew Bartolini.
The Innovator of the Year Award is presented to the CPO and team that have used new and innovative strategies and approaches to overcome significant hurdles.
Dennis Silva accepts the Innovator of the Year award from Andrew Bartolini.
The Technology Excellence Award is presented to the CPO and team that have leveraged technology solutions to impact procurement operations and performance.
