It always amazes me how much faster summers go these days, compared to when we were younger. When I was a kid growing up in suburban Baltimore, summer vacations seemed to be endless, along with the possibilities for fun, friends, and family outings. They were breaks from the school-year grind and, in a way, a chance to live our best lives as the best versions of ourselves (that said, I also loved school…but those breaks were pretty sweet).
Fast forward xx-number of years and in a flash, we’re into August…which means that in less than 30 days the summer will be effectively (if not technically) over.
